Cheap Holidays to Costa Adeje

Costa Adeje

Costa Adeje is a relaxing resort with a fantastic family friendly environment. It is the newest resort built in Tenerife, which has been built with families and couples in mind.

The resort itself is located in the south of the island, just a 30 minutes transfer time from Tenerife South airport. You can reach the island of Tenerife in 3 hours 30 minutes from the UK. If you are looking for a fun filled family holiday, this is the resort for you.

Costa Adeje can get lovely and warm during the summer months of June, July and August with temperature reaching up to 30 degrees.....don't forget to pack your sun cream, you will certainly need it. May and September generally see temperatures of around 22-25 degrees, slightly cooler but still warm enough for your shorts.

Tenerife is known for its year round sun and warmth. Even during the winter months the mercury on the thermometer will creep up to the early 20's, a bit of winter sun sounds good, but there is more chance of rain.

This purpose built family resort is an excellent choice for those looking for a family holiday with lots to see and do in and around the local area, with the choice of lively entertainment nearby.

As Costa Adeje is home to a number of smaller resorts there are 15 beaches to choose from! These beaches range from small secluded coves to jam packed busy beaches. The beaches in Playa Fanabe and Playa del Duque both have been awarded with a Blue Flag for their high standards, cleanliness and facilities.

These 2 main beaches tend to get very busy in the high season with tourists looking to relax on a sun lounger and enjoy the variety of watersports which includes banana boats and jet skis. For a peaceful laze in the sun on a beach you need to head to the smaller coves and beaches scattered throughout the resort.

Playa del Duque has beautiful golden sands which slope into the warm water. The sand of this beach is imported from the Sahara Desert! Behind the beach runs a promenade where you can sit and watch the world go by in one of the relaxing bars, cafes or restaurants.

Bimble around the shops and pick up a gift to take home. Playa Fanabe is a wide beach with a black volcanic strip which runs straight through it. Like Playa del Duque, this beach has a number of loungers and parasols to hire and watersports to try out including wind surfing and water skiing. At one end of the beach the kids can enjoy the play area with a sheltered area to protect them from the hot sun.
