The poolside snack bar serves a selection of drinks and light meals throughout the day and the on-site restaurant provides authentic local dishes and international menus. The simply furnished rooms have a balcony with views of the pool or mountains.

Kalamaki is a quiet, family friendly resort with a long, sandy beach and crystal clear shallow waters that makes it perfectly safe for children. A great base for discovering the rest of the island, with boat trips and excursions easily available to book. Take a boat trip and cruise around the Ionian Sea alongside the loggerhead turtles.

The beach at Kalamaki is the natural nesting place for the Caretta Caretta sea turtles. The females lay their eggs on the beach and 8 weeks later, the babies hatch and scurry down to the moonlit sea. For this reason, the beach is closed to tourists after sunset. Night-time flights to Zante have been banned because the baby turtles were being attracted to the airplane lights and coming to an untimely end.
