The beach is just 300 metres from the complex and the airport is only 3 km away. The Daisy Zakynthos Apartments are popular with families wanting to experience traditional Greek hospitality.

A daily continental breakfast is served in the on-site restaurant and light meals and drinks are served at the snack bar. The complex offers guests an outdoor pool, loungers, parasols, a separate children’s pool and a children’s playground. Various boat trips and excursions can be arranged at the 24-hour front desk as well as car and bike rental. There is a hairdressers and beauty treatments are available on site for those that want a bit of pampering. A favourite place for tourists to visit are the Blue Caves and the shipwreck beach.

Kalamaki has a great sandy beach and clear, shallow waters, making it ideal for children. The resort is a lot quieter than its neighbour Laganas, where you will find plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and a lively nightlife. The sandy beach of Kalamaki, is the nesting place of the world famous Caretta Caretta sea turtle. The female lays her eggs on the beach, and 8 weeks later the eggs hatch and the babies scurry to the moonlit sea. After sunset, tourists are not permitted on the beach.
