The Tivoli Lagos Hotel is situated 10 minutes from the beach, and the hotel provides a free shuttle service to its private Duna Beach Club on Meia Praia beach. The Duna beach club is set on 1500 metres of sandy beach with a cocktail bar and swimming pool, with a variety of water-sports available. The hotel is just 550 m from the city centre where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to wander round.

Lagos is in the western area of the Algarve, on Portugal’s southern coast. It is a historical town with many attractions including museums and churches. The old fortress and city walls are worth a visit, as is the marina. The bus and train stations are a 10-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to see the rest of the Algarve on public transport and guests will find the Ponta da Piedade caves a short boat trip away.
