Ourabay Aparthoel is located just a 15 minute walk from Praia da Oura Beach and 10 minutes from the famous Oura Strip, where the nightlife goes on until the early hours. Albufeira is in the Algarve region of Portugal on the southern coast. It is a popular resort for holidaymakers, mainly because of its many sandy beaches and water- sports facilities. The original town was destroyed by an earthquake in 1755, and all that remains is part of the castle wall and the clock tower, which is illuminated on festive occasions. The Old Town (as it is now called), has a pretty square, surrounded by cafes and bars, and a narrow, cobbled street that winds up through the hillside. The New Town is more up-market with restaurants, bars and plenty of shops.
