Hersonissos Palace Hotel 5 stars

The Hersonissos Palace Hotel is located downtown in a quiet part of town near the harbour and 50 metres from the beach. Within a few minutes’ walk, you can reach the centre of Hersonissos where you will find a good selection of shops and a wide variety of nightlife options.

Hersonissos is one of the liveliest resorts on Crete with bars, restaurants and clubs peppered along the seafront. It has 3 main sandy beaches, 2 waterparks and an aquarium. The beaches have sun loungers for hire, plus there are plenty of beach bars for those ice -cold drinks. Water sports galore can be found along the beaches. For a quieter life, tourists can venture into the back streets where there are plenty of bars with live music.

A trip into Rethymnon is less than 90 minutes away, where you can explore the old quarter which is filled with Venetian architecture. There is also a huge fortress surrounding mosques and minarets.
