Vilamoura sits in the heart of the Algarve and has developed from a small harbour town to become of the top tourist resorts on the Portuguese coast.

Things to do in Vilamoura

Zoomarine

Situated in nearby Albufeira, the Zoomarine park is a fantastic option for a fun-filled day away from the beach for all the family. As well as a range of rides, there is a waterpark with slides, as well as the chance to see a range of different animals – including dolphins.

Casino de Vilamoura

Head for the casino and you can enjoy a fun-filled night out at one of Portugal’s top entertainment venues. Try your luck on the gaming tables of in the slot machines before taking in a show in one of the nearby theatres.

Cerro da Vila

These ruins are located near to the marina and date back to roman times, providing the chance to visit what is left of an old museum and the public baths.

Golf

There is huge appeal for golfers in a trip to the Algarve, particularly when you take into account the course located within easy reach of Vilamoura. But it’s not just the seasoned golfers who will have fun at venues like the Victoria Golf Course, with the Family Golf Park featuring two crazy golf courses – amongst other things – that offer fun for all the family.
