Travel to Morro Jable with us

Like many of the major holiday destinations on the island of Fuerteventura, Morro Jable was once a small fishing village that has been transformed into a bustling resort where visitors from overseas can see to enjoy a HOT Holiday in the sun.

Situated to the south of the island on the Jandia Peninsula, Morro Jable is little more than an hour away from the airport making it easily accessible after the four hour flight from the UK.

Famed for its beach, Morro Jable is great place to relax in the sun, which is one of the top things to do on an island break on Fuerteventura.

That’s largely because in the height of summer, you’ll get to enjoy temperatures that regularly run into the 30s and then in the off-season, it will still be comfortably in the high teens.

The levels of rain are also relatively low throughout the year.

The beach is one of the big selling points for the resort of Morro Jable, with white sands running from the resort along the Jandia Peninsula.

These beaches are the perfect option for those who want to top up their tan, with the clear blue sea also being inviting for those who want to take a relaxing dip.

Just off the beach sits Morro Jable lighthouse; which is the tallest to be found anywhere across the Canary Islands.

The list of things to do in Morro Jable is largely centred around the beach, with plenty of activities on the most popular stretch, Playa del Matorral.

That includes a range of water-based activities that are suitable for all ages, ranging from pedalo rides for families to trips out to see to view the marine life that is to be found in the surrounding waters. There are also surf schools for those who want to sample some of Fuerteventura’s best waves.

Nearby, you could pay a visit to the Jandia National Park to explore a varied range of flora and fauna, whilst the popular Oasis Park is less than half an hour away and is home to a range of wildlife.

Morro Jable is probably the best place on the Jandia Peninsula for nightlife, with a selection of bars and various nightclubs in which you can let your hair down and dance.

There’s also plenty of restaurants, with seafood being a major draw.
