Kos is one of the Dodecanese Islands in the south Aegean Sea and blends the old and new together to create a popular holiday hotspot for visitors looking to embrace the Mediterranean sun.

Here, alongside bars, cafes and restaurants, there is another of the islands top beaches and also some of the many historical buildings to be found across the island – such as the Castle of Neratzia and the nearby remains of Asclepeion.
For those who want to see the more traditional face of Kos, there are plenty of more low-ley options to explore away from the main tourist areas.
You could also head inland to explore the impressive countryside or take a hike up the slopes of Mount Dikeos to marvel at the best possible views of the island around you.
