Hurghada

Hurghada is split into 4 different areas; El Dahar which is the Old Town, Sakkala which is where most of the hotels, shops, bars and restaurants can be found, the Golden Mile which is named after the beautiful beaches and El Kawser which is in the South of the resort. When you travel to Hurghada there are plenty of things to do and see.

Top of your 'Things to do' list needs to be snorkelling, diving or a boat trip so you can take in all the stunning sea life including colourful fish and beautiful corals. Divers tend to return here year after year as it is so beautiful. You don't have to bring your own equipment as there are plenty of places to hire it from along the beaches, there are even dive schools if you are a beginner. If you are not so keen on going under water you can still explore the sea by going on a glass bottom boat trip or hire out a boat for the afternoon.

El Gouna and Soma Bay are great if you like golf. There is a fantastic golf course here to enjoy a round or 2. At the marina there is traditional bazaar where you will find everything and anything from clothing and leather goods to handmade crafts, fruit and vegetables. The traders love a bit of haggling, you will certainly be able to get the price down! The new marina is home to a great choice of shops, bars and restaurants. Most of the shops around the marina sell a variety of designer goods, souvenirs and sunglasses.

Jungle Aqua Park is located on the road to Safaga. This is a very popular aqua park for tourists as well as locals. It has 14 swimming pools, 35 water slides and a large area for relaxing. The kids can have fun in the separate play area with their own swimming pools, climbing frames and water slides. Not only are there single rider slides but there are group slides and a family slide. The lazy river is great for relaxing and when you've had enough and want a bite to eat, there are 14 restaurants to choose from!
