British holidaymakers love it on the Costa del Sol, and they’ll certainly enjoy themselves when it comes to our latest choice when it comes to hotels that include waterpark access.
The Holiday Palace is a 4* hotel that is part of the larger Holiday World Resort complex that lies on the coast between Benalmadena and Fuengirola.
Perfect for families thanks to a wide range of activities that are available on site, the Holiday Palace offers a range of rooms and suites that can sleep as many as six people.
Offering Half Board and All Inclusive breaks, the hotel features plenty of activities for all ages, with both indoor and outdoor swimming pools – the latter housing a special section just for children.
There is also a range of watersports offered, such as water polo, with an air conditioning gym on site and a selection of sports – including basketball, mini-golf, tennis and football.
Those sports form part of the hotel’s entertainment programme, which runs both during the day and into the evening where live music, cabaret and professionally produced shows are a feature.
As well as a children’s club, there is an indoor soft play area, TV and movie area and a playground with swings.
Adults meanwhile can enjoy time relaxing and being pampered at a stylish spa, which offers sauna, massage treatments and a Turkish bath.
The Holiday World Resort also has its down splash park that is open to those staying at the four hotels, including the Holiday Palace.
Located at the bottom of the hill below the hotels, the Beach Club features a number of pools, water slides and special themed areas and is open daily.
A shuttle bus operates from the hotel down to the park for those who don’t fancy the walk (although it’s the walk back where you’ll be more likely to need to use it!)
