When going on holiday, capturing those once-in-a-lifetime memories is something that everyone should try to do - even if you are not the most tech savvy.

A photo can bring back joyous memories, remind you of amazing adventures and help you tell others of your unforgettable trips. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words.

For some taking a few snaps for your social media profiles is an absolute MUST.  But sometimes, it can be quite hard to find that perfect photo for your feed. That’s where we come in!

We have rounded up some of the top “Instagrammable Destinations’ that are always popping up on Instagram and revealing some amazing places you can visit to get that perfect holiday pic.

Bali:

Bali, a tropical paradise that has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world for people looking for adventure, relaxation and culture. Travellers flock to its sun kissed shores to explore, honeymoon, and bask in the blissful atmosphere of the Island.

Bali boasts a number of ancient temples, exotic palaces, rugged volcanos and tropical jungles teaming with wildlife which makes this slice of heaven so popular with travellers. From authentic local restaurants where you can sample delicious Balinese cuisine to roaring nightlife spots that come alive as the sun goes down - in Bali, there’s something for everyone.

So it no surprise why beautiful photos of Bali are always circulating social media. From the Banyumala Twin Waterfall to the Gunung Kawi Temple, the photography opportunities are endless.

However our personal pick is the iconic Handara Golf Course Gate, as pictured above. Located near the main road passing through Bedugul highland, this decadent gate is surrounded by lush mountains and rain forests; giving you that perfect dramatic backdrop. We recommend, like with any popular photo spot, to get their early to beat the crowds.

Amsterdam:

The capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam is one of the most iconic cities in the world. The amount of things to do in the city are endless – whether it be a day cruising along the winding canals, taking a bus tour to see the famous landmarks or visiting some of the amazing museums that scatter the streets.

But of course, the most iconic spot in all of the city would have to be the recognisable bridges. After all, did you really go to Amsterdam if you didn’t take a picture of yourself on the red brick bridges overlooking the canals?

And a bonus, if you go to Amsterdam in the spring, you will be able to capture this beautiful city in full bloom- the perfect pop of colour for you feed.

Paris:

What is an Instagrammable Destinations blog without the mention of Paris?

Known as the city of love, Paris is full of romantic spots and whitewashed Parisian alleyways that radiate beauty. Bursting with culture amd a range of activities, Paris is a perfect sightseeing getaway. Explore the wonderful and sometimes weird cuisine on offer, visit the many art museums, or even take a trip to the land of childhood magic- Disneyland!

However, despite the many pictureaque photo oppurtunites, it should be no surprise when we tell you that the number 1 photographic attraction, is the Eiffel Tower – one of the most famous buildings in the world!

New York:

The concrete jungle where dreams are made of! New York City is full of neighbourhoods to explore, each one filled with a different adventure.

Whether you’d like to gaze upon the Empire State Building, enjoy thrilling performances at the Lincoln Centre, or go on a culinary journey at the home of the USA’s first ever Pizzeria- New York has place for everyone to appreciate!

With so many places to see, it may be hard to pick a place for you holiday snap.  But as amazing as the Statue of Liberty may be, we believe the Times Square in Manhattan is the best photo spot in the area!

Tokyo:

Last but certainly not least, is the magical city of Tokyo. Filled to the brim with history, Tokyo is one of the busiest cities in the world; boasting a mix of modern and traditional culture.

Visit the Tokyo Skytree for some modern day décor – or take a trip the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, where you can enjoy a calming walk past the ponds and cherry blossoms, while still being towered by the surrounding skyscrapers.

However if you are looking for something extra special, we believe that Senso-ji, the capital city’s most popular temple, is the best "Instagrammable" destination in Tokyo. Great for a photo-shoot, and even better for a traditional Japanese experience.
