The Arvia is the newest cruise ship to be joining the P&O fleet and will set sail on her maiden voyage to the Canary Islands for some winter sun in December 2022.

From there, she heads for the tropical sunshine shores of the Caribbean - providing those onboard with the chance to enjoy a holiday that they’ll never forget.

With over 15 restaurants to send your taste buds on a tantalising journey around the world, the first rum distillery at sea, and a dazzling retractable SkyDome offers stunning panoramic views during the day and becomes an extraordinary performance venue under the stars at night; your days at sea are set to be remarkable.

With any new P&O Cruises ship you’re guaranteed to be spoilt for choice with on-board activities, and Arvia is no exception thanks to a unique underwater adventure like no other.

New and exclusive to Arvia, Mission Control is a unique immersive experience that combines an escape game with multimedia simulation and an intense live-action story - creating a thrilling underwater odyssey in which your team must save the day.

Mission Control puts you at the heart of the action and is bound to get hearts racing and minds working thanks to two one-hour experiences: a family-friendly adventure suitable for all ages, and an adventure designed especially for adults.

Set on board the fictional submarine Arvia II, you’ll board in groups of up to ten to form a team of marine explorers and underwater detectives looking to overcome danger and solve puzzles at every turn. The incredibly realistic 3D surroundings will take you to the depths of ocean canyons, where you’ll encounter astonishing marinescapes, sunken cities and underwater creatures.

If you succeed in your mission, you’ll join Dr Ryan’s team and graduate as a fully-fledged member of the Marine Research Institute. This unique environmental experience will not only be a great adventure but also leave you with a greater awareness of the need to protect our fragile marine ecosystems - what’s not to love?

"We wanted to create something brand new and we believe this is the first of its kind in the world," Phil Yeomans, Director of Entertainment, P&O Cruises said. "We took the escape room and a simulator, and mashed the two together to create a fantastic submarine experience."

But the fun doesn’t stop there, with plenty of family-friendly activities ensuring fun filled days on-board Arvia.

Make a splash and cool off on those hot summer days at the Altitude Splash Valley aqua zone, perfect your putt at Arvia’s very own Mini Golf course, or get some hair raising thrills as you set foot on P&O Cruises first ever high-rope experience.
