The Balearic Islands are amongst some of the most popular holiday destinations in the world. Every little location has its own special trademark - from partying on the beach with friends till dawn, to strolling along the coast with the one you love.

Check out some highlights of these amazing Island escapes below and let us know which one is your favourite!

Ibiza

The party central of the Balearic Islands, Ibiza is largely known for its lively nightlife, concerts and parties - making it the go-to destination for holiday goers looking for an energetic, fun break. With a bar, pub or club around every corner, it’s hardly difficult to find something to do.

Although being lesser known for it, Ibiza is also home to quiet, calm beaches and retreats where you can go to relax and unwind. From Cala Bassa to Portinax, Ibiza has a lot of beautiful scenery, delicious restaurants and magnificent marinas to explore.

Majorca

The more family-oriented Majorca brings in tourists from all over the globe.

There is quite literally something for everyone. Whether you’re here to see sights, grab a sun tan, spend time with the family or enjoy some cocktails by the beach - Majorca covers every aspect of holiday magic, making it one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Balearics. Relax on one of the MANY beaches, explore the culture in the Capital City of Palma de Mallorca or indulge at one of many authentic bars and restaurants - whatever you desire, Majorca can deliver it.

One of the busiest resorts in Majorca, Magaluf is notorious for its fabulous beaches, bars and bouncing nightlife. Whilst being a smaller area, “Maga” is arguably the party central of the Balearics, boasting over 50 combined bars and nightclubs. A walk along the seafront will see you encounter countless bars as well as cafes; while you take in the sun and pick your perfect spot on the beach.

Magaluf also flexes the Western Water Park for tourists to cool off and take a break, or if water parks aren’t your thing - Katmandu Park boasts activities such as 4D experiences, expedition golf, theatres and more!

Situated in the north of Majorca, Alcudia is one of the calmer locations among the Balearic Islands. If sightseeing is what you’re looking for, try the Alcudia Old Town - founded over 2000 years ago, and home to hundreds of ancient medieval buildings. Or, you could visit the market, every Tuesday and Sunday morning, to discover the hidden local delights.

Or if relaxing and cooling down is what you fancy, you could go to Alcudia Beach - the largest and longest beach in Mallorca, or even the Hidropark, the only waterpark in the northern part of the island!

Menorca

Similarly to Alcudia, Menorca is also one of the quieter, relaxing islands out of the Balearics; notorious for its long sandy beaches, beautiful bays and wonderful sights.

If you’re looking for somewhere to take your loved one, then Menorca should be high up on your list. Filled to the brim with beautiful sights, romantic long walks and magnificent bars - it’s the perfect holiday for you to make some memories with the one you love.

But it’s not limited to just that. The list of things to do in Menorca is endless - sample a vineyard tour, visit the Talayotic route and explore the thriving coral reefs; there’s a taste of something here for everyone.
