When it comes to holidays in Ayia Napa, people often focus on the nightlife – with the many different clubs and bars offering the chance to let your hair down and party until the early hours.

There are two sides to the Cypriot resort however, which is also a great place to visit if you are travelling with the family.

One of the main reasons is the popular WaterWorld park, which is located a short trip away from Ayia Napa and is home to a huge array of different attractions.

Amongst the largest waterparks in Europe, WaterWorld has rides to cater for all ages, with thrill seekers loving the high-speed trip down the Drop to Atlantis, and exhilarating trip along Apollo’s Lunge or a race down the two Kamikaze slides – Thunderbolt and Lightning.

Don’t get concerned if you just want to relax though, as there is an adult pool area with bubble baths in which to sit back and take it easy and a winding lazy river, as well as a wave pool.

Young children will enjoy the Trojan Adventure themed splash area, whilst there are child only slides such as Zephyr’s Breeze ready for them to enjoy.
